Coordinated Operations Lead to Confiscation of Illegal Weapons in Galkot Municipality
Galkot, Baglung, in a decisive crackdown on illegal firearm possession, Law enforcement officials successfully confiscated a total of six homemade firearms during a series of raids in Galkot Municipality. The operations were carried out jointly by the District Police Office Baglung, under the jurisdiction of the Narethati Police Station.
Acting on information provided by local sources, The District Police Office initiated targeted searches in Wards 1 and 3 of Galkot Municipality. In Ward No. 1, a single firearm was recovered from a concealed location within the vicinity of the Jana Ekata Community Forest picnic spot. In a more extensive operation within Ward No. 3, law enforcement discovered a cache of five firearms situated near the Goreto Road, Adjacent to the cave within the Bhagwati Community Forest of Deurali.
