Baglung, On the occasion of Chaite Dashain, Kalika Bhagwati Guthi Management Committee organized the Kalika Cup volleyball tournament worth Rs.3 lakh from Chaitra 30th.
A volleyball tournament is going to be held in connection with the Chaite Dashain Mela, which is organized with the slogan ‘Destination Baglung Kalika’ Promotion of Art and Culture – Promotion of local production, trade and tourism.
According to the committee, the group that secures the first position in the competition involving national athletes will be provided with a cash prize of Rs. 300,000. The group that comes second in the game will receive Rs. 150,000, and the third team will be awarded Rs. 100,000. The best and disciplined player will be rewarded with Rs. 5,000.
The upcoming fair, scheduled to be held until 6th Baisakh, is expected to attract five lakh religious tourists and engage in economic transactions exceeding one crore. The fair will feature cultural competitions, including traditional dance competitions at the secondary school level.
In the National Folk Dohori Competition, the team securing the first position will receive a cash reward of Rs. 200,000, while the second-placed team will be granted Rs. 100,000, and the third-placed team will receive Rs. 50,000.
