17 youths who came to celebrate Holi jumped one after the other from the Karnali bridge at Chisapani in Kailali. One of them has disappeared.
A video captured by Reporter Indu Kc of the youth jumping and searching from the boat has gone viral on social media. On Monday afternoon, the youth jumped into the Karnali river.
According to the local Media, 30-year-old Lokendra Bahadur Shahi of Lamkichuha Municipality of Kailali has gone missing.
The search operation has been stopped after the search was not found till Monday evening. The police said that although divers were used, the missing Shahi was not found. The police said that the search would resume on Tuesday morning.
