‘Jaari’ Marks Historic 100-Day Run in Nepali Theaters. The film Jaari‘ is celebrating its hundred days in theaters with great success. Released in the past month of Baisakh, the film has been running for a hundred days in Nepal’s largest multiplex chain, QFX. Even after 96 days of its release, QFX Channel is still showing the film once every day. On the 6th of Shrawan, the film will complete a hundred days of screening. Despite the presence of big foreign and domestic films, ‘Jaari‘ has achieved this significant milestone.

The distributor, Manoj Rathi, revealed that the film ran for 80 to 90 days outside the country as well. It also earned well in the international market, and in Darjeeling, it ran for 51 days on a Monday.

Directed by Upendra Subba, the film features performances by Dayahang Rai, Miruna Magar, Bijay Baral, and Prem Subbaa. The production team has informed that the film has earned over 140 million Nepalese Rupees in the domestic market. ‘Jari’ revolves around the prevalent practice of ‘Jaari’ in the Limbu community.
